LW is loading up excrutiatingly slowly for me, but only when I'm logged in. It loads up fine when I'm not logged in (same as any other webpage), but when I'm logged, some screens and threads take so long to open that my computer occasionally times out.

This isn't due to any settings I've changed on my computer in the last couple of weeks, as I haven't even had my computer on. And the slowness isn't limited to threads with images posted, either.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Well, I didn't try logging out, but I had the same trouble as STU earlier.

Same here. Occasional time-outs when posting or opening threads and a general lagging, but everything works fine now for me.

It's all related to the avatar not showing for some of us on the main page.

I plan to chat with PowWeb tomorrow during their regular business hours to figure out what the problem is.

Another PowWeb problem...

I've got the STU virus now. I turned off the avatars and greamlins; while this appears to've helped a little, the boards are still waaaaay slower than I'm used to.

At least we're up... Rob's boards are all screwed up. Freaking PowWeb!
