Guidelines for Multiple Threads - 06/05/06 02:28 AM
Please do your best to follow the following rule -
It would help those of us who are behind the scenes trying to maintain this site a great deal if everyone would try to locate a topic (that you can safely guess may have already been discussed) and continue your discussion there rather than create a whole new thread.
Advisors will be/are being asked to lock up a duplicate topic with a link to the original thread. Then they should contact me and I'll eventually merge the two topics into one.
This will help everyone stay on the same page in a discussion without the rehashing of old subjects as well as help me and Scott out with backing up/maintaining the site and not having more files than we really need.
Thanks!

6. LOOK. READ. Look for other threads that may already be discussing what you'd like to discuss and give 'em a read through before you go off making a topic on the same topic. (See how redundant even the RULE is?)
