The following rules were established by Kent at the start of the first 24-hour version, adapted from the original rules by EDE:

The rules:

1. The Basic Idea: Post to this thread, if no one posts after you for 24 hours, you win!

2. Posts that are not direct responses to one of the five preceding posts are ineligible to win. The topic can drift, but no complete non-sequitors. Posts that are responses to non-sequitors are also ineligible to win. Posts that are responses to responses to non-sequitors, and responses to those posts, etc., become eligible, however.

Even though Legion World is much cooler

Is Legion World an ice world? How close is it to its sun? Does it keep warm due to gravitational tidal forces?

I thought Legion World was mobile, so it go anywhere it fancied! Like Weber's World, but without all the form filling! Like Brande's Planetoid, but with a better standard of scantily clad wait staff! Like War World, but with hugs instead of guns!

I just got back from the gym carrying my own weight in fabulous snacks from the Asian grocery store. I think we need our own Asian grocer here

You could use the abandoned ice cream parlol for the Asian grocery store.

We would need a big place. There is a wide variety of Asian food and cuisines

I believe the ice cream parlol is like a TRADIS, bigger on the inside than the outside.

Maybe there's a spare asteroid no one's using.

I'm pretty sure we'll need a whole supermarket aisle just for Pocky.

Would it be better if we opened these on an abandoned moon? Udon noodles and other pastas. All the produce. Bean cakes.

I've been wanting to make pound cake. Usually I do one for the New Year's Day Party, but we didn't have one this year.

I got distracted by a recipe for this cocoa pudding-cake thing you can actually steam in the slow-cooker. I've never tried to do this before, so I'm curious to see whether it works or not.

I made Coca-Cola cake for our New Years.

I had no idea Coca-Cola could be put in cake.

Once someone tricked me into eating tomato soup cake.

You can also make a layer cake using mashed potatoes, but I've never tried it. As with tomato cake, the chocolate masks any veggie overtones.

Mashed potatoes are the best.

I'm longing for twice-baked potatoes, but probably won't get around to them until the weekend.

Tonight it's Chinese-style vegetarian hot pot with tofu.

I'd like an eye roast with pan roasted potatoes. But my oven pilot light keeps going out. I've been in my apartment for over 20 years now and the stove was old when I moved in.

Pilots actually gain time due to their traveling higher in the atmosphere than those on the ground. So they in fact age faster.

If speed equals distance traveled by time, the outer edge of a fan move faster than the inner edge.

But what really bugs me is that ceiling fan blades get so much dust on them. I mean it's disgusting.
