I like coffee strong and black. I like coffee sweet with cream. I like coffee steaming hot, fresh out of the pot. I like iced coffee. I like fancy flavored coffee. I like Folgers and Maxwell House, too. I like coffee strong and bold. I like instant and decaf. I like coffee with Kaluha in it. However you do it, please make sure you give me my coffee.
The best way, of course, is fresh and served with a slice of coffee cake or some bread pudding.
Beauty's where you find it. Not just where you bump and grind it.

Occasionally, I feel compelled to spend a few days free of either alcohol or caffeine. Just to make sure that I can still do it. This weekend, I've been taking time away from alcohol (my liver needed the break after my W-Th excesses  ). All told, it's much easier than going 3-7 days without coffee.

I've gone through phases with coffee. I drank it in high school and college and then got out of the habit, drinking it only occasionally. Then, about four years ago, they transferred me to be the manager of another library, one with a staff of coffee drinkers. It wasn't peer pressure--more like subordinate pressure. I'm at another library now, but there's still a lot of coffee drinking where I am now. I'll drink it at work and out, but never at home. At home I drink tea or Coke Zero for caffeine.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I drink coffee only on certain occasions, usually when I'm staying in hotels.
My main source of caffeine is diet soda, and I've felt a need to cut back on those recently.

I can thank my mother for introducing me to coffee.
Now, she used much more water than coffee, and she served it at room temperature, but there you are.

We just got a new used electric coffee grinder today. I hope it has a longer life than the last three or four new ones that I've purchased. Seriously, I can't tell if they deliberately design grinders to die young, or if I'm just abnormally tough on the damn things. Either way, it's annoying.
