The WB just released the episode information for the November 12th episode of Smallville. Spoilers follow: S P O I L E R S P A C E Here's how the network describes the episode, "Magnetic": Clark (Tom Welling) is suspicious when Lana (Kristin Kreuk) suddenly becomes attracted to a fellow student (guest star Kevin Zegers) and begins to act rebelliously, which eventually lands her in jail.
Clark's suspicions are confirmed when he discovers Lana¹s new boyfriend has magnetic powers that can move objects and alter human emotions, but when he tries to free Lana from the paranormal hold that is controlling her, she tries to kill him.
Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Chloe (Allison Mack) has been delving into Lionel's (John Glover) past and tries to get her to join forces against his dad. Sounds to me like Rokk gone bad.

Well, there are a number of magnetically powered heroes and villains in comics, so I wouldn't associate the character with Rokk just from the description.
It does sound worth checking out, though.

I don't mind seeing kids with Legion-type powers guesting on Smallville, but the more of them we see, the less likely we are of having a guest appearance with the real Legionnaires -- not that that's necessarily likely to happen anyway, but still...
We've already had a Chameleon Girl, an Insect King, a Saturn Boy, a Lightning Lad, a Duo Dude, an Invisible Kid, some Phantom Boys, a Sun Man...

Duo Dude? What's he say? "Dude! Dude!"? The Phantom Boys sound interesting, though...

That makes me think of the Pokemon "Geodude." All he says are variations of "geo" and "dude."

After watching the lastest "Smallville" with "Magnetic Boy", makes me wonder if Rokk is capable of using his powers to make him a "babe magnet" -- could it be the reason behind Kid Q's attraction? Maybe that backrub had a little magnetic boost to make her feel randy and hot for the Rokk ...?
All in all, it was an ok episode, but I feel like we've been here before -- we've seen Lana act out and be the "bad girl", we've seen meteor rock enhanced crazies go after Lana and we've seen Clark try to protect her only to be rebuked then proven right at the end, yadda yadda ...
I do like that things have switched from Clark pining for a clueless Lana to Lana wanting to be with Clark and Clark pushing her away -- which is closer to comic book continuity. I also like Chloe's subplot with the Luthors and Lex's slow continuing slide to the darkside.
And from what I hear about an upcoming episode ... "Lois Lane?"

I just found out that Michael McKean (who played Perry White in a recent episode) is married to Annette O'Toole (who plays Martha Kent). I don't recall whether their characters interacted at all during the episode, though.
