Babe Ruth becomes coach of the Yankees for three years and coaches DiMaggeo to a World Series victory.

New Coke is never shelved, all soda businesses go out of business, Pepsi and Coke merge into one large company that sells vitamin water drinks. Dick Cheney owns 5% of the shares, but is later bought out by free-loving hippies.

The art world remains divided as to the importance of the artwork of Adolph Schicklgruber.

John Wilkes Booth gave a stunning performance in "Our American Cousin" which President Lincoln attended. The reunion of the South and the North is made easier by Lincoln's famed magnanimity.

An honest recount of the 2000 election prevents Bush from seizing power.

A sane foreign policy instituted in the late 20th century against the wishes of the oil industry averts 9/11.

An honest recount of the 2000 election confirms Bush for his first term and sends Gore on an eight year odyssey looking for his lost personality. (oh wait, that actually happened wink )

A sane foreign policy instituted in the late 20th century against the wishes of the Clinton administration averts 9/11.

isn't spinning fun!

Simon John Beverley and John Lydon, two young British music students, adopt the names of Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten for an amusing performance in their advanced violin class, and a new era of classical music is born.

The Beatles do not break up in 1970. In 1980, they are on their 20th anniversary tour and half the world away from a young man named Chapman.

Realizing the danger automobiles would cause to the environment, Henry Ford and other industrialists of the early 20th Century invest in railroads, resulting in well-used and well-run passenger rail connecting all points in the United States.

The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

The outstanding medical care provided by the United States to all residents and augmented by special care of magnanimous employers like Time Warner provides life long care for free to former creators like Dave Cockrum, who, free from medical woes and any associated financial burden, is under contract to draw Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes for at least 5 years after the 50th Anniversary spectacular.

FC marries a young 20 year old Cobie, also born slim and tall (though dark haired, natch) in 2001! Cobie's poor upbringing shocks the rich upper crust of Legion fandom.

Deciding to go with the hottest new trend after the wedding, Cobalt Kid changes his name to "Cobalt Cramer". Many believe that this has more to do with Fat Cramer's refusal to change her name to "Fat Kid".

The 1987 Philippine Constitution and Government foresee the possibility of cronyism and corruption, and remove the corrupt oligarchs from power.
