Oooh, I'm excited. On Saturday hubby and I fly out for a week's holiday, spending a couple of days each in Pigeon Forge, Nashville and Memphis. It's kinda going to be a flying visit (driving between all three, which bizarrely enough is the quickest way of doing it even with the four or five hour drives involved) but we should have enough time to do the major sites like Graceland and Dollywood. We're probably going to have to miss out things like the Smoky Mountains but that's the problem with going out with a teacher, you're kind of limited to how long you can spend on holiday.

But I'm still looking forward to it lots. Hell, how could going somewhere where they have their very own Lash-La-Rue be a bad thing.

Oh, we have GOT to try to meet at some point!

Yes, I think so too. I shall have to check exactly when we're going to be where (and if Chris is OK about it, but there shouldn't be any problem there) because I have no clue. Chris does the organising, I just follow along merrily with my head in the clouds. But even just meeting up briefly would be very cool.

Lash, did you get my e-mail today? I'm probably not going to get a chance to check my mail again before we leave, so just in case it didn't get through we're in Memphis from some time around midday on Thursday and we're leaving first thing Saturday morning. Apparently we're at the Sleep Inn, but I have no idea where that is. Chris organises all that sort of thing since I just don't do the whole organised schtick. I might be able to check my e-mail once we get there, but if you do want to meet even for just a quick drink or something leaving a message at the hotel might be best.

Lash, I've not got your e-mail but if you sent it to my work mail I won't get it until we get back anyway. Also I made a mistake, we're here in Memphis now until Friday morning. We're in the Sleep Inn off Front Street on Court Square if you want to leave a message at the hotel or something. You'd need to leave ir for Chris , since it's booked under Chris's name and not mine. It'd be cool to meet but if not you never know, you might bump into us.

Unfortunately we missed you Lash. We're back home now. I did ask the girl on the desk at the hotel if there were any messages and she said no but she seemed a bit clueless to be honest. We did, however, have a very excellent time. I shall post more about it later. Just to say now though: Dollywood yay! Graceland is *very* cool, the weather was fabulous, Nashville and Memphis both rock and the South does seem to be a different country because I've never met so many genuinely firnedly people when I've been on holiday before. Like I say though, I shall elaborate more later (possibly after some sleep).
