I'm beginning to wonder! I know we have Monkey Eater Lad and years ago, we had Stately Wayne Manor-Eater Lad (later Zoe's Love Slave). But both of their dining habits are/were pretty specific.

Lardy doesn't have Tenzil's specific ability, but even among an LMB that loves food, he's probably second to none in his ability to consume mass quantities! And just look at page four of "The All New LMB Roleplay thread without any notion of a plot!" to see evidence that Lardy can eat things most of us wouldn't consider! (WARNING: it's not for the faint of heart! )

And if you consider that Lardy has vast broadly-defined energy powers, it's certainly possible that he could use them to break down inedible objects in such a way that he could conceivably eat them, if he so chose!

So is Lardy the LMB's Matter-Eater Lad? If so, does that mean I'm about to be endlessly worshipped, adored and admired by EDE and MLLASH?

Or is there...another?

I'm not so much saying that I could literally be an alternate-dimension version of Tenzil Kem (or vice versa), so much as I'm saying I could be the one too mimic his powers.

However...if you think about the fact that Tenz was portrayed occasionally as a little on the chubby side during the Silver Age and that we're both dark haired, it becomes slightly more plausible...

However, now that I think about it, Sharky's definitely in competition with me for the ME Lad designation! He's my number one competition for the eating title among LMBers.

Er, of course, Sharky prety much sticks to eating...people...

Lardy, I've always thought you were part Cos, part Garth and part Chuck Taine to be honest. Just like Cobalt Kid is part Cos, part Dirk Morgna (maybe even part Val, but I'm stretching for myself ). This was before we started having real counterparts.

Cos - Legion's first leader, who would day grow into their greatest enemy.

Garth - founding Legionnaire clouded in tragedy with odd twist when he reappears 5YL.

Chuck Taine - lovable Legionnaire that means well, plagued by self doubt (how Lardy started in continuity).

Lash, on the other hand, is part Tenzil, part Cos as well IMO (with bits of others in there).

The mind reels as I wonder who's got which parts . . .

Wow! I don't think I've ever been referred to as the LMB's "heart" before! I guess I've always mentally had Lash cast for that part, or in the early days definitely Shady. I appreciate the compliment, though, Sharky!
