Got a message saying my system folder was damaged, insert my Windows XP CD and hit "r" to fix it. And, of course, on top of the frustration of that, thanks to Microsoft's inane licensing changes of a few years back that banned OEMs from giving you proper CDs, I don't HAVE one ( [Said OEM made a "recovery" (i.e. reformat & reinstall) disk available for a mere 20% on top of the purchase price - I didn't take it] So now, until I figure something out, I'm stuck without a working home computer My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.
