Pleasantly surprised to see obscure (from my point of view) or newer characters like Cavalier or Nocturna making it this far. Also a bit surprised at Scarecrow's exit.
I always associated Deadshot more with the Suicide Squad than as a Batman villain. I shall look up some of his Bat-appearances.

I always thought Deadshot had one of the coolest visuals .. when he appeared on the cover of a Bat-book, I definitely picked it up He did get WAY more developed in Suicide Squad
I'm a little surprised at how well some of these folks are doing ... But that's part of the surprise.

I also though Scarecrow would be in the running for the final few places. I thought he'd last longer than our Alice inspired villain. But the Hatter had his demented moments.
Dr. Phosphorous did look cool. He was lethal, just by being himself. I always wondered how he lived. Busted going to the shops. Unable to really travel without getting recognised or at least drawing suspicion.

As the JLA had a satellite, the Injustice Gang also had one. As the JLA had a teleportation network...

I will always remember him for that panel in COIE where he burns the Earth-2 Hawkman.

There is a three-way tie this round between Catwoman, Cavalier, and Talia Al Ghul.
Catwoman (Golden Age) 235 100% Cavalier 235 100% Talia Al Ghul 235 100% Joker (Silver Age) 230 98% Clayface II (Hagen) (Silver Age) 225 96% Nocturna 220 94% Man-Bat 215 215 91% Deadshot 200 85%
It was a very tight round, so I am forced to eliminate everyone that got less than 80%.
Riddler (Silver Age) 185 79% <- I feel he should have made top 5, if only for his influence and popularity in the 1960s. Two-Face (Golden Age) 180 77% <- Catwoman is the only Golden Age version left in the Idol.
Poison Ivy (Silver Age) 175 74% Ventriloquist I (Arnold) 170 72% <- I am glad he survived this far.

I honestly thought Poison Ivy would give Tali and Nocturna a run for their money. Now all 3 females left have had some hints of romance with Batman.
I agree I thought Riddler would last longer given his prominence. Not just in the books but also on TV
Pleasantly surprised to see Cavalier doing so well!!! I hve to admit I like him partly cause he was revealed to be gay

I am starting the new round at this time so it will be earlier when I tally the votes.
Catwoman (Golden Age) Cavalier Clayfave II Deadshot Joker (Silver Age) Man-Bat Nocturna Talia Al Ghul
It is highly probable that the Wild Card Round will be after this, so make your choices wisely. If we end up needing more characters than active voters, I will be forced to draw the remaining names from the Random Generator. It is not a respecter of persons.

I will always remember him for that panel in COIE where he burns the Earth-2 Hawkman. Yeah, that's my first thought of him too.

I thought that all of these would have got further than some of the characters who are left. Emily mentioned the '60s for the Riddler and that's pretty much where he was for me. I don't think he appeared in any of the Bat books I was reading. Since I seem to say that a lot about 2classic" Bat Villains, it shows that DC were clearly crating a lot of other foes for Batman back then. Alternately, they may have had there head in the sand when it came to exploiting certain properties. By the nature of her powers, Ivy was tangentially linked with Swamp Thing and Black Orchid. She controlled lots of plant life in Crisis too. So it was a good time for her back then. I read more of her in Suicide Squad where she kept Count Vertigo on a leash. The Jekyll and Hyde of Two Face I thought would be a contender to win this. The levels of duality that he can represent make him a very strong character when written even half decently. The Ventriloquist seems a little dated now, but there's always been a chilling quality to animated dummies. The Dummy had been a Golden Age character and there were films form Devil Dolls to Puppetmaster.
