Our female character has a secret ID and although her super hero code name includes a colour, she is not Black Orchid or Black Alice. She made her debut after Crisis but before Zero Hour, does not have mental or magical based super powers but has super strength. She's sometimes as weak as a normal person in daylight and sometimes not. Super strength is not her only power. She isn't, and has not been, part of a team, and therefore has never been a Legionnaire. She has not had her own title, and hasn't particularly worked with Batman (I can't recall any time) and does not work for a government agency. She does not have a sidekick.

She would surprise people if she was identified robbing a bank, and if she turned out to be Snarkier than Shadow Lass. She has not appeared in the 30/31 century, and it's something that's possible. She operates out of the US, one of the cities on the main DCU planet Earth she's a native of. She has worked, at least in part, from a city that exists only in the DCU. She's not Legion related. She has not been romantically involved with another hero in the way that Jo & Tinya are romantically involved. She's in superhero stories and not under the Vertigo banner.

Yes. It's the only thing that makes sense. AND it seems like they couldn't come up with anything else by the time the script hit the artist
