My vote is for Plastique. I love her powers, to just blow stuff up. Great power! And her attitude! And that she's a third potential femme fatale for this sausage party!

A few of the big foes are also foes of other groups and heroes, so no to Mordru, Darkseid and Lex, Ultra Humanite, Wizard and Vandal Savage. Some like Aquarius and Anti-Matter Man had more potential than was shown. I was never a huge Kanjar Ro or Amos Fortune fan. So, I'll pick the Appelaxians!

I'll vote for the Anti-Matter version of the Crime Syndicate who I found more interesting and fleshed out than the originals. Morrison had a lot of good ideas about their dynamic that other people ran with (and the Quitely art was gorgeous). I also liked how someone finally used their own perspective and insisted they were on Earth, while the League was from "Earth-2" (I know Luthor did that and not the CS themselves, but it was still a fun moment).

I think this was covered, but I always think of the Anti-Matter Crime Syndicate as the ones from a JL Quarterly (I think) issue. they were from Qward and looked like the Thunderers. I think of Morrison's ones as being the Earth-2 Syndicate with the originals being the Earth-3 Syndicate. But that all could just be me

[tangent] That always tickled me, even when it's carried forward to the WB shows, and you've got Gypsy saying she's from 'Earth 19' or whatever, when, *clearly* her world discovered the existence of parallel Earths long before 'Earth 1' did, so she should be referring to Barry's world as 'Earth 19' or whatever... [/tangent]

Just checking Emily:
The rules sort of make it sound like we pick two characters (one who was eliminated [1] and one who was not included in the game [2]) but you've only picked one character. Am I misreading the rules? I copy and pasted this from the last Idol where we had to choose two characters. I did have to edit this post once to change everything to one; I hope I got them all. I will change the 'have' to 'has' and the 'them' to 'it' if that was causing the confusion.

I'll pick Brainstorm. I worry that he'd keep hitting his head off of low entrances or, like poor Dollar Bill in the Watchmen, suffer an accident in a revolving door. I can easily picture his cover though so he's a villain we should have seen more of.

That's what Reboot Leviathan thought! But then Violet had to be all, "Kinetix was only smiling at you because she was laughing at your silly headgear!"

Wild Card Round List- Please Pick One Appelaxians Brainstorm The Cadre Crime Syndicate (Anti-Matter) Eurocrime Plastique Star Sapphire III
I will stick to Star Sapphire, though Plastique had a cool Who's Who entry.

Hmm, I love me some Crime Syndicate, but I don't want to vote for an entire team to join this team.
That leaves Brainstorm, Plastique and Star Sapphire, and if everyone just votes for the person they elected, this round's going to be a dud...
So, while I like Plastique more, I'll vote for Star Sapphire.
Brainstorm's funny hat does nothing for me. I scoff at your haberdashery-based appeal to my whimsical side!

It's interesting how many teams made it onto this Wild Card list.
I voted to add Brainstorm to it but that was only because my top 3 choices had already been selected. Eurocrime was one of those 3 and I'm tempted to second IB's vote, but there wouldn't even be a Justice League of America if it weren't for the Appelaxian aliens, so my vote goes to them.

While I have a soft spot for the Cadre, It has to be the Appelaxians for me. I don't know who Eurocrime are.

I am intrigued by the Appellaxians, and now wonder what they might be like in the Legion's future. The eight-ish we've seen took the form of elements (and / or forces, in the case of Fire), suggesting that any other individuals met might do something similar with Metal or Water or Air. They seem to share the ability to transform others into their element/force and then control them, which could suggest a potential tie to other characters who can transform others and / or manipulate a specific element, such as Crystal Kid or Golden Boy.
But my vote's still for Star Sapphire.

Thanks Ibby. DC Apathy prevented me even searching for it. I can only imagine that a Rebirth ongoing is in the works for them. I must own the JLE appearances they have. I can't recall if I have the EM mini. I think I'll stick with the Appellaxians. I am intrigued by the Appellaxians, ... They seem to share the ability to transform others into their element/force and then control them, which could suggest a potential tie to other characters who can transform others and / or manipulate a specific element, such as Crystal Kid or Golden Boy. Vote Appellaxian to see their encounter with Diamondeth!

Wow, having followed Ibby's link and learning more about Eurocrime, I feel really bad for Sonar, Copperhead and Warp for being stuck with a bunch of losers named Escargot, Calamari, Lutefisk, Toad-in-a-Hole, etc.
I mean, gosh, if you're going to name Euro super-villains after regional foods, where's Blood Pudding, Haggis and Spotted Dick*?
*Spotted Dick is really a Somahturan, but only able to give people STDs. So he's basically Sterling Archer, without the spy skills.

I was wondering if we'd see Paella, Bratwurst, Souffle, Lasagna, Linguine, Borscht, Shawarma and Pizza...
