Actually, this is a preliminary version of The Vision, as Homer was the creation of a guy named Stan Lee.

Or maybe The Angel. Note the halo.

Tache Scarlet: Oh, nothing...
Buck Rogers: You utter *!$& tease.

Many Golden Age companies would alter the titles of their books, while keeping the numbering. As well as saving on costs, it allowed them to prentend that the title had staying power and to capture new trends. Moon Girl being the classic example. Here, we see the last of the Buck Rogers Specials. Like Moon Girl, it too would look to capture the growing market in Romance becoming Mad Space Love Special.

Tache Scarlet: Look Buck! I peer in here and whatever I look at appears on the top left of the cover.
Buck Rogers: I've something else I might let you look at.
Tache Scarlet: And I'm a tease?!

Falling Blonde Idiot comics? Wow! They sure knew how to cater to niche markets in the good 'ol Golden Age.

Bah! It is *not* an Invincible picture story. Mine was ruined after just twenty minutes of me looking at it and having My Own Romance! smile

Hang on... haven't I seen this before? But wait, what if there's more than one of them...Panda-monium!

To be fair, the guy shouldn't have been using body wash containing exotic bamboo extract.

It's well known that the cigar smoking fish went onto fame in Finding Nemo and playing Jack Nicholson in all his movies.

What's less known is that the dog chose to go into genre movies. Here he is in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
