The exact lineup of New Teen Titans v1 #1, plus Connor, Cassie and TIm. Way to think outside the box, Newsarama. Why not make it a top 11 so you can throw in Bart and fill out your completely unimaginative pattern?

They seem to exist solely to promote the PR initiatives of the Big Two. And as far as DC is concerned, those 10 characters are probably their most marketable Titans so of course they're going to give them a push. I wouldn't be surprised if some DC marketing person didn't write that whole article and just gave it to Newsarama to publish.

I really think it's true, though -- there are no bad characters, just bad writers. Even Pantha could have become interesting with a good writer. Even Danny Chase. Even the D.E.O. kids...whoops, that last one belongs in the "Discussions of Titans Issues You Haven't Read" thread. Still "Fickles" to my friends.

I think Titans has always had more space for those kinds of characters - Bette Kane, Golden Eagle, Thunder & Lightning, Red Star, Gnaark, Lilith ... even Beast Boy back in the day I liked Danny as Phantasm - so strange that this was such a better possibility for the character and it was basically a plot device
