Matt, have you heard anything about Olivier coming over to DC to work on a book with Geoff Johns? I know he said somewhere that he'd love to work with him again...
I wish Olivier could come back to DC to work on one of my favorites! I don't really like the editorial direction at Marvel as much these days, too much focus on making their monthlies an outlet for trade paperbacks. His Avengers was good, but I feel he and John's couldn't tell the stories the way they really wanted.

Olivier told me that, when Geoff was leaving the "AVENGERS", he said to Olivier that he could come and work on any of his "DC" titles !!! but at the moment, Olivier is still at "Marvel" ..... and he hasn't mentioned any other plans for the future !!?? if he does let me in, on anything !!! you guy's will be the first to know ..... whoa!
i don't recall oli signing any exclusive contracts, so does this mean he's freelancing? while i love his work, i'm lukewarm about his ability to put out 12 issues a year. still, if he's given a head start, perhaps he can pull it off. though DC could give him a cold shoulder for leaving, if it's Geoff asking (he *is* DC's current wonder boy), perhaps they'd take him back...

here are a couple of COLOUR scans of Olivier's "Avengers / Fantastic Four" cover !!!
the pictures are very small [ sorry !!! ]
i got sent these by a member of my OLIVIER COIPEL YAHOO GROUP .....
the actual comic is a reprint issue that comes out in Europe, and it is called "Marvel Legends" !!! hopefully we'll get it in the UK ??? i saw a "BATMAN" version of this today [ so hopefully i will !!! ]
