I'm in that "bit late for baby boomer, too early for Gen X" group and I grew up watching all the early Disney animated movies. Much later with my now adult daughter and her friends I watched the more recent Disney fare. Lots of great stuff there. The original Jungle Book is one of my favourites. Love the music in it. Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife. Oh yeah.

I started watching in the late 80s/early 90s myself. The Little Mermaid was probably the first animated movie I ever watched!

My confession, at 19 I am only now getting into a lot of cartoons. I normally watch stuff like Firefly, Lucifer, Bones, the Flash, Supergirl, and the different star treks, but since quarantine it has been my guilty pleasure to watch stuff like Star vs The Forces of Evil, My Little Pony, Steven Universe, and The Owl House. I find them actually very entertaining and great characters and plot.

Ooh! I also love it! It was quite whimsical.

The scene where they escaped from the archery tournament was hilarious!

Speaking of Disney movies from the 70s, I like the band of jazz cats from The Aristocats. They were somewhat derivative of Top Cat and his gang, but charismatic nonetheless.

I am 45 in 2 months and I love a good cartoon...my old housemates used to be quite amused coming home to find me curled up on the couch in the middle of an Adventure Time marathon laugh

On that note, the new She-Ra is really good! The first season is just kind of cute and inoffensive, but by the end of the second season I was really invested in all of the characters and the story arcs!

I'll one-up both you folks: I just turned 47, and I still have a ton of DVDs with 1980s cartoons on them. In fact, before I logged back in just now, I was watching the 3-part pilot episode of Transformers...for maybe the hundredth time. smile

I want to say I read somewhere that many of us during the pandemic and lockdowns were indulging in many creature comforts, including shows from our childhoods.

In my case, I ended up binging M*A*S*H and going down the rabbit hole around that show's history (as well as digitally returning to comics). But the conversations here have been great because I had frankly pushed a lot of those great WB Cartoons to the back of my mind. During a massive cleanup exercise in my house I found a bunch of old DVDs that we had purchased for my kids of the old Disney movies (including multiple copies of the classics due to the policy Disney had at the time of only releasing certain movies at certain times for sale). And now everything's digital. lol

I also just realized that I only have one DVD player in my house (actually two including my old XBox)

I have a spare DVD player for whenever the one I'm using poops out. smile

I stream only when I absolutely need to (i.e. Netflix-exclusive movies & shows.)

I keep hearing about she-ra so I am probably going to check it out, but I was watching the new Carmen Sandiego while that was going on.

My favourite scene would have to be them sing that comedic prince John song right after the escape. I also love the prison break.

The new She-Ra or the classic? I know the new one is very well liked and has some great voice talent associated with it (including Jordan Fisher who is going to be Impulse on the Flash TV show).
