Great show, good movie (though I thought they strayed a bit from the characters' basic motivations where they were more outright heroic rather than dysfunctional and mercenary -- and Ed stole the show  ). One of the best theme songs for an animated show (the beginning one "Tank", though the ending one "Real Folk Blues" is good as well).

Fantastic series, I enjoy every aspect of it. Faye is such a tragic character, I always tear up when she sees the video. Ein is such a cool dog.

Yes, the movie is out on DVD.
It's a fantastic series. It's the one my hubby used to introduce me to the wonderful world of anime, which until then I thought was all like Voltron, Battle of the Planets and Pokemon.
I've been hooked ever since (and write a weekly review column for the paper). All thanks to Cowboy Bebop. I keep telling my hubby we need to go to an anime con with me as Spike and him as Jet.
