Alas! I was out of town last weekend and forgot to leave my computer on for its DVR to record! I was REALLY looking forward to this one and had a feeling it might be the best of the series thus far based on how the glimpses we got in the previous week were so effin' AWESOME! Am I right? Did it mega-space-rawk? Give me as many spoiler-free reviews as you can, so I can decide to what degree I'll have to wallow in self-pity until I can catch it on the reruns! (And yeah, it'll probably rerun before I know it, but with my luck they'll show "Timber Wolf" twenty times before they get to that one! )
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Hmmm... spoiler free....
There were lots of excellent characterizations. The personalities were perfectly displayed.
The plot was interesting and flowed and twisted well.
There were lots of very funny moments.
There were some wonderful Legionnaire cameos.
It mega-space-rawked! Go ahead and wallow!

I haven't seen it yet either Lardy. Actually, I still haven't seen Lightning Storm. But I do have them recorded on my TiVo. I'm going to have to petition for extending the day to 30 hours just to have some time to watch TV.

Um, just to make me wallow further in despair, Dean and the rest, rank it compared to the other episodes. Best ep? 2nd best?

It's great Lardy! Lots 'n' lots of easter eggs and a few nods to classic Legion lore here and there. Also there are some clever twists that really bring the Subs to life. Infectious Lass' inhaler, Stone Boy's intellect, Porcupine Pete's mom (he he he) and more!
It's so hard to say anything that won't be a "spolier" but I just loved it. I'll say it again, watching the cartoon is like reading the silver age Legion, good clean fun.

Oh, to me those aren't spoilers! If someone says Drura or whoever was kickass, that doesn't spoil anything for me! But I'm REALLY starting my pity party now....

March 31st Lardy. That's the next airdate for The Substitutes. Hope you can hold out that long.
