Last night I was flicking throug Impulse 21 when reboot Legion meet Impulse and Cos mentions that he's met Max. Did this happen in Flash or something?

If he hasn't met him for the first time yet, that just implies that a younger Cos will meet and older Max somewhere further down the line.

Time paradox fun.

In other words, it hadn't happened yet from our standpoint. And with the cancellation of Impulse, what happened to Max and the new reboot, I highly doubt it will.

Max Mercury was supposed to pop up all over the future, owing to his periodic timejumps. But we probably won't see any of it anytime soon, since as Caliente mentions he's more or less in Comics Limbo right now.
