Matt Damon sees an awesome new technology and uses it, then lives happily ever after. The end. I do like the idea that Vi descends from Matt Damon, though.

Even if it's a comedy, Downsizing can't be all small-life-is-awesome jokes. Maybe a cat breaks into their world and terrorizes everyone. Threats from the normal-size world eventually convince the Downsized to move to their own planet, which they call Imsk, for some reason (the sequel). Imdb calls it a "social satire", so hopefully there'll be more to it than Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Holy Cats of Egypt!
