Not completely sold on this whole "Darkseid's Legion" storyline, but hoping for the best. The idea of a time-hopping Validus on the run from something, and the sight of the rest of the Fatal Five lying dead, is pretty powerful stuff, even if it is an annoying example of villain decay .

Geoff Johns did add extra members like XS and Gates. Looks like Joshua Williamson has more extra members like Jazmin Cullen in his fiveboot legion currently serving Darkseid temporarily. Fiveboot legion sort of first appeared as guest stars in Justice League United Infinitus Saga and it can also be called retroboot legion expanded, or maybe retroboot legion plus, or maybe retroboot all in legion.
