I've been contemplating where Laurel Gand belongs. She was a favorite of mine from her first heroic appearances 5YL, and into the SW6 Legionnaires as Andromeda...... reboot Laurel was a devastating depiction; a pale shadow of the hero we had grown to love. She wasn't used much, was mutilated when she was, and pretty much disappeared when she was needed.... Now, with the Action/Lightning Saga Legion building upon it's own universe, and no sign (past or present) of a Supergirl there, this is the time for the ORIGINAL Laurel Gand to come back, hauling Khundian @ss! I'm afraid Johns may be concerned about the new stories looking too "5 Years Later" (no sign of a Vi/Ayla relationship, a major gap from Crisis thru Magic Wars), Laurel could give the team an added boost of female power, as a new addition (no need to be a temporal replacement this time). Anyone else looking to see Laurel back in the heroic spotlight?

Heck, as long as they're multiplying Legions, I'd rather just have the 5YL Legion back. Even if it's some kind of distorted, post-Final Crisis version of the 5YL Legion!

Would be best if Giffen were to consider coming back to a project like this, since it was his baby.

As long as we're dreaming, might as well bring the Bierbaums back as well. They were easily the best Legion dialoguers ever.

So very true....ahhh, those were the good old (dark 'n dirty future) days! That these issues have not been collected yet is punishable by 18 years on Takron Galtos...! I need to get out those issues again - remember the adventures of Saturn Queen & Tenzil?!? The Bierbaums were the 90's Gail Simones....

Oh, God, any sort of 5-Year gap Legion would be great--and Giffen + Bierbaums would just put things over the top! The bliss, the bliss!
If the meek shall inherit inherit the Earth, then I at least want Baffin Island - and a property manager to work for me who is made of sterner stuff than I.

Yeah, but for everyone here who would be basking in "the bliss" at the return of TMK/5YG, there would be about 20 others wallowing in "the piss" and "the moan" if it happened! If ya laughed, it ain't cuz ya don't think it's true!

While I know zip about that era ('Laurel' for me will always be Laurel Kent), if it's got fans, there's no reason to axe it, especially with fifty-two possible Legions out there.
I'd be thrilled if Superboy's Legion was one of 'em! I don't need to see a single Superboy's Legion story ever again, but I just like the idea that somewhere out there in the multiverse there could be a group of super-powered teenagers out there saving the universe with a smile on their face.

Exactly. Laurel is the coolest "new" Legionnaire in a long long time.
It'd be really cool for her to show up in a Valor Girl variant outfit and then this time around we get to see her develop into the Khund busting powerhouse we fell in love with. Really guys, we've already seen Supergirl so why not bring in Laurel and make her a separate unique person so they can BOTH exist?
She was integral to the Dominator wars y'know and it looks like we may be seeing the beginnings of another one of those. It'd be floobin' cool to see her back to kick Pinnacle Command's teeth in again.

Whether they bring back TMK or not, Laurel Gand, as she was portrayed there, should be brought back to some incarnation of the Legion!
The Legion needs a tough-ass chick who wears a THONG, dammit!!!!!

I really liked Laurel as well, and I loved TMK, but I don't need to see that version of the Legion return. To me, their story's been told. Since it seems we're going to be getting three Legions, I'd rather see Laurel back with the post ZH/reboot Legion. At least she has a more coherent, non-time blip, shoe-horned in origin.

I could easily see a LG intergrated into the Action/Lightning Legion, esp. since they're unlikely to have a Supergirl at this point.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.
