I do not have the issue to hand but I seem to remember her being launched into the sun.

no he didn't launch her into the sun.

He took her to Rokyn to her Parents in a Superman issue. (where Alura's hair color was changed to black in a ink error, and it was during the Crisis during a break in the action I would say between Crisis 7 and 8)

Anyone have a copy of that post-original-recipe-Crisis fallout page (the one in the actual Legion comic) where Brainy's all emo because Kara's dead. Dr. Chaseer says something nice to him, and either Rond or Circadia (or both) basically tells him to grow the [bleep] up?

If there's already one posted somewhere, just point me in that direction. Google and its ilk just aren't my friends today, I guess. Still depressurizing from the heatwave and the end of the stoopid temp job.

B5: "She's dead Chronarch. A thousand years ago tonight, she died. Leave me with her."
RV: "You knew Supergirl was doomed to an early death, Brainiac."
B5: "I couldn't stop her Rond. I had to watch her die."
CS: "History K-K-K-cannot K-K-K-change, my friend."
B5: " You taught me that, Chronarch, years ago. But I still built the Time Bubble to conquer the centuries so I could hold her...kiss her...and dare not interfere with her death.
May whatever gods there be have mercy on her soul--and on mine."
On pages 8 and 9 there is a 'bar scene' at the Time Institute. Rond tells him to pull himself together, everyone is staring.
Dr. Chaseer comes over
RV: "Doctor Chaseer, how are you?"
DrC: "Well enough to wish a hurt man less pain."
B5: "Thank you."
Dr.C: "You are a brilliant man, sir--it pains all of us to watch you so. Can we not--"
B5: "No. No one can... anything. Not for me. Not for Kara."

At the end, he pulls himself together and reminds Dr. Chaseer "After all, tomorrow will be another day whether were ready to face it or not."
