Of the four non-Legion DC titles I bought the week of November 12 (AQUAMAN, GREEN ARROW, TEEN TITANS, JSA), two contained several members of the JLA as guest stars and a third set up such a meeting for next month.

And it wasn't even 'JLA Month'.

I'd like to see that approach used with the Legion.

BRAINIAC 5 and XS have *got* to meet the 'new, improved' KID FLASH-- either in the pages of FLASH or TEEN TITANS. That's one meeting that ought to occur whether the 'mega-crossover' ever actually happens or not. I'd LOVE to see Brainy's reaction to the newly 'informed' Bart Allen, Brainy's one-time 'speedtoy'. And Bart and Jenni have *never* spent enough time together.

TIMBER WOLF and VIOLET would be a good fit to visit HAWKMAN and THE ATOM in Hawkman's book.

If ELEMENT LAD ever returns, he should spend some time with MARTIAN MANHUNTER. Recent events in JLA make them even *more* resonant with each other than previously.

SATURN GIRL, DREAMER, SENSOR and UMBRA would be great appearing in WONDER WOMAN-- perhaps for a visit to Themyscira.

INVISIBLE KID, CHAMELEON and SHIKARI could pay a trip to Gotham City and get the drop on BATMAN.

BABBAGE, GEAR and FERRO could spend some time with the METAL MEN-- who are supposed to get a new series in 2004, I've read.

I know time travel-- especially to the 20th/21st century-- is problematic for some Legion fans. I think the extended 20th C. stay soured a few of you. That stay was team-up deficient, I think. Anyway, this crossover would be a one-month deal- not a prolonged absence.

Given that scenario... play along... Which Legionnaires would you like to see 'guest starring' in which DC books?

Todd, if this were the case that would really be great. It's a great approach too, and could be done more subtlely to peak interest in the Legion title.

I especially like Brin and Vi visiting Hawkman and the Atom!

Some great ideas there, Todd!

I'd especially like to see XS and Brainy meet up with Bart again. It doesn't seem right that Jenni and Bart don't even wonder what's going on with the other from time to time.

It kind of seems like they're making time travel more difficult, doesn't it? All the talk in the last issue about the horrible anamolies, etc., that could happen if Superboy were returned even one second off from the moment he left his time -- it doesn't quite jibe with the more liberal approach they used to have. ("Let's leave Inferno in the past and take Ferro with us, after having just spent weeks or even months in the past. It won't cause any problems!")

Speaking of the Atom, does he no longer have the power to grow to normal human size anymore? It seems like he's always in shrunken mode when I see him in JLA or Hawkman these days -- he was even in mini-mode getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner!

Is this a function of his power's limitations, or is he just being written like "giant Vi" these days?

Rather than time travel, three proposals.

#1 Those in the past interact with those in the future through day dream or nightmare.

#2 Those in the future interact with those in the past through history disk.

Okay so I'm walking around campus and I'm noticing a big change since when I went to school. Noone walks with anyone anymore. Okay Minorities still hand out in front of the Union, but other than that. Nope, it's all people waling around with cell phones to their ears. Seriously, I've been tempted to start lecture by pulling out a phone and making a conference call to the students in the room. At least that'll get them to be quiet long enough to start lecture. Anyhow, this brought up idea number three.

#3 People in the future got time phones. Okay they can only talk to people from the past after time phones were invented, but it's like digital tv. Not everybody gets to play. There's even this goofy guy walking in place saying "can you hear me now, can you hear me now..."

Okay, now for the actual thread title, I have to think a bit more on it.

Those are some great ideas there. Now for mine...

SHIKARI and CATWOMAN would make a nice team-up, and I'd like to see Kari and Batman continue their duel from legion 12, and it would be interesting to see how the innocent Kari reacts to Selina. Maybe we can throw in SPIDER GIRL too.

KARATE KID versus BATGIRL, and maybe even Lady Shiva. Just who is the greatest of the martial artists?

Definitely, UMBRA with BATMAN, but I'd like to see her have a nice chat with OBSIDIAN too. And maybe she and SENSOR can look up INFERNO sometime. All three are tough/edgy females now...

INVISIBLE KID with DOCTOR LIGHT (yes, I know she doesn't have her own title...), and maybe this could pave the way for both to expand the range of their powers.

I'd like DREAMER and VIOLET and APPARITION to guest in BIRDS OF PREY. Tinya could get some tips on men from Canary, and I imagine Nura and Oracle would hit it off pretty well. And Vi gets to see some action too!

Maybe CHUCK could take the Titans for a joyride in the Bouncing Boy? And I like PB's idea of KINETIX and ANDROMEDA with WONDER WOMAN.

I second (or is that third?) the motion for Jeni and Brainy to visit Bart again, too.

It's just me, I guess, but I was so turned off by Team 20 that I don't really care to see the Legion cross over with any current DCU books.

The Umbra-Batman suggestion reminds me of the Planetary issue in which Jakita Wagner faces off against Batman. Jakita and Tasmia have a lot in common, character wise.

I'd love to see Jo and M'on guest on Wonder Woman. Jo because he's so different from her and M'on because or their similarities.

Triad popping in on the Birds of Prey would be cool. Her powers would make her a great field agent for that book.

Seeing Wildfire with Superman would just be cool for me smile

I wouldn't mind seeing Karate Kid beat down Green Lantern laugh

Starboy is a natural guest star for JSA

It could be cool for Spark to team with the Titans since she's following a legacy as well.

I'd like to see some Legionnaires retry a team up with the Teen Titans soon. Maybe the Time Trapper could be reintroduced as the vehicle for the get-together. If Kon-El is back with the Titans by then, both him and Bart would have links with the Legion.

I've been wanting to see Jenni take up the legacy and become the 31st Century -Flash- for quite a while now. That would be a perfect opportunity for upgrading XS. A meet up with Bart and finding that her young cousin is beginning to mature (heh)maybe could inspire her to start thinking about the family legacy. We know from Flash tales that the there are Flashes for hundreds or maybe a few thousand years after Barry so why not?
In theory she came into her own on Xanthu fighting Robotica for the better part of a year so she's earned the cowl and lightning zaps if she wants to wear it. IMO
A Flash in the Legion. Cool huh?
