Was that the mad god X'hal from the Omega Men series?

Not Lobo either. The person in question is a DC villain though.

I looked it up after my guess. And to keep the tread moving...
The answer is Evil Star.
This may be an easy one. Whom did the X-men also recruit when they recruited Kitty Pryde?

You know it helps that I know you and I might be Solo's two biggest fans here on LW, Drake! OK... Spider-Man's foe the Jackal never fought him alone. Name three of his five partners durnig hte 1970's. Hint: two are pretty easy and famous.

Right on the money 'Boot! The Punisher and Ben Reilly being the famous two easy ones. You actually named all three of my favorites.
The other two were Hammerhead and the Grizzly.
You're up!

Thank a summary Astonishing Spider-Man (UK reprint title) ran of the 70s clone story when they reprinted the Clone Saga for me knowing about Punny & Tarry . I'm not even sure they mentioned the other two. Okay, what were three of the following five stats about Penance [of Gen X] meant to be before Larry Hama &^*^ed everything up? (A) name (B) age [relative to M is acceptable ] (C) country of origin (D) powers (E) reason she couldn't speak

Speaking of Penance, she just popped up in "Loners" #2. Wonder how many of these stats are going to change again?

Originally posted by DrakeB3004: Speaking of Penance, she just popped up in "Loners" #2. Yeah, I know. What do you think prompted me to think that question up? Originally posted by DrakeB3004: Wonder how many of these stats are going to change again? All and none. Basically, under what Hama established (and none of this has any bearing on the above questions), Penance was the real M and her little sisters were impersonating her; they then swapped so that M was herself and the M-twins were M [the original plan for M was for there to be no real M, just the M-twins]. Jay Faerber then removed the M-twins from Penance while still leaving a Penance. Indications are that he was planning to move it back to something more like Plan A, adjusted for what had happened since, but he was removed from the book for the Counter-X fiasco soon after; which summarily took Penance out the book (although the post-Ellis Gen-X writer, Brian Wood, did briefly angle for a Penance Mini). Now, the Loners writer, C.B. Cebulski, has said that he's going to make Penance a host body permanently (with the codename "Hollow" to go with it), and Penance III is an extant character has replaced the M-twins in there. Which I think is a pity, and they should have gone to something like plan A. Now, answers for the "plan A" questions please

I have to be honest, the only reaso I know this is because Reboot explained this to me once before here on Legion World. So once again, I benefit from interaction with the question askers! (A) name - Yvette(B) age [relative to M is acceptable ] - jeez, can't recall. 16? (C) country of origin - Yugoslavia (back when it was a country) (D) powers - also can't recall. (E) reason she couldn't speak - deaf-mute girl.I think I might have gotten it, but I admit that its close. (I have no idea why I never bothered to check out these trivia threads in Spaceopoly over all these years. They're my new favorite threads to visit).
