This might have been yesterday, or it is today, or maybe everything is wrong, but I'm seeing online that today is the 60th anniversary of when Brainiac 5 was introduced. So happy birthday Querl! You are so much older than I thought!

Nice! LOL
Some Legion literature lists his Character B-Day as Jan 23, but his first publish date is good too.
Or, celebrate both! :-)

Yay! Let's hear Brainy on the Lumna-Organ! Kono juice all around (but make sure to check the ivory cups are properly cleaned)!

May 1961 cover date, so probably around this time for newsstand date.
Happy birthday, Brainy!

I can just imagine the reaction.
Brainiac 5: "Thank you but that's not necessary: birthdays are a human tradition, the date of my birth has no impact on my life and so I have no reason to celebrate the occasion." Ayla: "I had no idea Coluans don't celebrate birthdays!" Imra: "They do. It's just Brainy being Brainy".

Apparently drinking kono juice is traditional on Coluan birthdays. Just make sure it's not line with Rakurga.

The old DC calendar from the '70s gives his birthday as Dec. 30.
I rather like that as it's also the birthday of half of the Monkees (Davy Jones and Mike Nesmith). Brainy could join them for some songs:
"Hey, Hey, We're the Capricorns"
"Twelfth-Level Believer"
"Metropolis Sunday"
"Last Train to Smallville"

Somehow a lumna-organ seems like it would fit right in with the Monkees.

There's also that connection with reboot Brainy and Koko.
