Jeepers, with all the negative vibes going Proty's way, I had to give the little guy a thread to express my undying affection for the little blob! Color me a top-tier Proty fan! Proty II too! Especially his scene is #301 (?) where he disses them for making him a Super-Pet!

This thread will self-destruct in 30 seconds. I'd clear out if I were you.

Disses them for making him a super-pet?
Proty II should go back an read Adv. #322! He seems pretty gung-ho on joining the super-pets if you ask me!

And my favorite Proty II scene is his singing "The Ballad of the Substitute-Heroes"!

I know he *used* to do nice stuff for you, but what has he done for you LATELY?

Now, now, Scott, you should set that timer and that block of esthetic C4 plastic explosive on some TMK threads. Proty was just yanked along for the ride in that v4 abomination of a "backstory."

Proty I'd rather just squash under my shoe then flush the mess down the toilet.

Hey! Is this thread for talking about the postboot Proty as well?
Because I think the Proteans attacking the Legion HQ was a pretty decent reboot issue!

Hey, whatever happened to that Proty that was hanging around Lori Morning in the postboot? Remember him/her/it? My theory is that after the one-year DnA gap, Proty really took the place of one of the Legionnaires (as Protys often do!).

OOooo...good call SLK. I wonder which Legionnaire might actually have been a Proty in the DnA Legion?

Those little balls that the terrorforms turned people into looked a lot like Antareans in their natural forms.

I always thought Proty reminded me of the film monster the Blob. Would'nt it be great if in this version when proty's turn up they feed on humans. Lets say they need to feed once every 30 years and do so by absorbing them, then until the next feed they take on the shape and memories and personalities of the victim.

Love that idea!
And this is a positive Proty thread!
And Proty II to the Super-Pets was what Wolverine is the X-Men!

Favorite Proty II moment: "the old sing-song"
loved that issue - except for the Garth/P1 bit.

Proty rules, and so does Lori Morning. There, I said it.
