We will wait for more votes, but it looks as though the eyes have it.

Good to know people are keeping an eye on things when I'm not around.

Unless you are a schoolteacher. I had a dramatic example of this several years ago when playing a game of "Scotland Yard". I was the criminal trying to escape the police which was all the other players, including two school teachers. For most of the game my piece was not on the board but I was required to write down the number of the location I was moving to with occasional appearances while the police team tried to box me in by their choices which I could see. Their movement was uncanny and when they caught me at the end they explained that even though I was hiding what I was writing they had a pretty good idea what numbers I wrote. I actually felt a bit cheated. They were using their superpower!

Yeah... I've also been tempted by the criminal life but deep down I know it would end that way for me, too.

That's one reason being an actor seems fascinating for me. One can get into a character, and do & say things that are socially unacceptable.
Well, that doesn't include slapping someone at the Oscar's or actually abusing someone... only do it behind the camera, folks!

I was reading about Laban movement the other day, connecting dance and theatre. https://www.theatrefolk.com/blog/the-eight-efforts-laban-movement/A video at the bottom gives an idea of it in practice.

In Tagalog, Laban means "to fight"

There were a lot of aggressive examples in the video.

My husband was watching an '80s music video yesterday and commented that it made no sense. I reminded him that most '80s music videos made no sense.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I almost got into a fight with someone who tried to monopolize the music at a party we attended. Finally, the woman of the house came and changed the music. He got up, and I said, "hey, she lives here - she can change the music if she wants!"

Playing monopoly while playing music can interfere with your concentration.

I've never played a game of Monopoly that ended well for everyone - the winner always gloats and no one wants to play for months.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Gawd... I was never good at board games. Perhaps that's the real reason I opted out of having kids. An unwillingness to pass on all that emotional pain and frustration to a new generation of humans.
(See the "Family" sketches from The Carol Burnett Show where they sit down to a game of Sorry! or Monopoly.)

I *love* those Sorry skits.
Funnily enough its probably the one game we can play as a family without it causing that much of a rift (they still happen with Sorry, only to a much more short-lived degree).

I'm only after the 3 properties in Monopoly.

I'd try to get any kind of color to start building and get the cash. Cause the sad part is that if someone gets PP & BW, AND they start to build, any rent you generate the buildings you have will go to that player. For Sorry, we'd have fights over which color people would play.

Hubby and I enjoyed the game Pandemic during the lockdowns... lol, it started as a joke. But we quite enjoy it because it's a cooperative game, you win or lose together
