One irreconcilable difference was that Danny was always working towards being three sheets to the wind.

Is the story hidden away in Alan Moore's beard, or is Jeanette Khan lost in there?

Gah! Moore's beard begins to pull in the audience. Soon, all that will remain will be Alan Moore's beard, twitching at the centre of the universe it consumed!

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

At least you won't have to think of anything when 52 does come round. And the cards means we don't have to relate it to DC's disappointing 52 obsession.

Poor Mentalla. In the Silver Age, her gambit would have worked perfectly!

I'd never thought of that before. Ibby is right.

And the Legion would have apologized for rejecting her, and invited her to join the team.

Maybe. Though the Silver Age LSH wasn't afraid to let characters have a tragic ending.

also true tongue let's say, in the Silver Age, Mentalla's story would have been more likely to have had a happy ending smile (so all our points above are true!)

I can certainly see her story ending the way Fanfie posited!
