I vaguely remember, but I think this was in the I Can't Believe It's not the JL mini, was this the alternate-reality Metamorpho?

I vaguely remember, but I think this was in the I Can't Believe It's not the JL mini, was this the alternate-reality Metamorpho? I don't think I read that whole mini - for clarification, this occurred during the time we had both a JLA and JLE title. Also, it was not a flame-retardant gas.

It was gold! In JLE #11, Metamorpho turns himself into gold and proceeds to beat the crap out of Guy (although he does also admit that any Green Lantern with half a brain could probably have come up with a way to stop him as gold isn't a particularly strong metal). You nearly got the home run IB but I will give it to stile as he came up with the exact answer...good work y'all!
