I absolutely love Tears for Fears. I've been rediscovering them in a major way, thanks partly to Gaseous Lad's enthusiastic posts about them in these forums. Songs from the Big Chair is quite simply a perfect album. The full-length version of Head Over Heels is breathtaking! I'm about to embark onto their 90s output (really just Roland and session musicians, of course; I might also give Curt's solo album my first listen ever.)

I'm not that familiar with their 90s output, but people whose taste I trust regularly cite Raoul and the Kings of Spain as a masterpiece, so I keep meaning to take a deeper dive.

Yesterday, I found a YouTube playlist with all 14 tracks from the Bangles' original Greatest Hits.
I'd never realized before how annoying Susannah Hoffs' voice really is! It was just so damn affected, in a stereotypical "sex kitten" way! It also ruined her vocal range from the strain against her natural voice.
I really wish the Peterson sisters had chosen to be a duo instead of a group.
And as for Susan "Michael" Steele, her voice is decent, but her songs are dreary. Thankfully, there's only one of them on that collection.
Yeah, I'm feeling kinda grouchy today.
