I believe the next "up" run will be the LSH cartoon comic.

I'm already anticipating it being the best LSH run in more than 20 years!

Reasons I still have this on my pull list:

(1) I never even knew there was such a thing as a pull list until I stumbled into Legion World and the excitement over the LSH/TT crosover two years ago.

(2) Barry's art. Barry's legionnaires have replaced almost all of my iconic Grell legionnaire images. When I think of Cosmic Boy, I envision a blue clad guy with brown hair. (But I still think of Colossal Boy in the Cockrum/Grell costumes.)

(3) I have to buy ten titles a month to keep my pull list.

(4) Hope that some of the dangling plot threads will get resolved -- Lemnos' fate, Nura's resurrection, appearance of Jo's dog, Supergirl's awakening/disappearance, Sun Boy and the ex-TF members.

(5) It gives me something to talk about here on Legion World besides inane one-word posts and Limericks.

I'd like to see a comic based on the animated series. I started buying JLU for my eight-year-old daughter so she'd have something to talk about with the boys in her class. I'd gladly replace it with an age-approporiate LSH comic.

Yes, yes. I too hope that the dangling plotlines are resolved in a cogent manner. The problem is that the plotlines compound and dangle for soooo long that I find myself not caring and forgetting about, um...

Okay, I will admit things have been a little slow here. WnK seem to have lost some of the energy when this title was launched. We have good stories, pretty much done in one. It's the overlying threat that needs to move faster, something to give these kids a reason for being together. Right now, it just feels like a clubhouse.

As for the particular issue, I do miss Barry. The art wasn't bad, but I don't think it matches Barry's quality. Part of me wonders if Waid is stalling the story til Barry can draw the big throwdowns.

Invisible Kid has been my favourite since the back-up in TT/LSH. I don't like him developing as a conniver- blaming Atom Girl for his sneakiness and now messing with Cosmic Boy. Boo hiss.

I just looked at the solicit for this issue again.

Supergirl's new boyfriend?

A group that can target the Legion's weaknesses?

Gee, I don't remember any of that from the story...
