31. Sludge



Function: Demolitions

Sludge is stupid. REALLY stupid. Sludge does well to remember that his name is Sludge and that he is a Dinobot. He's also extraordinarily strong and tough. Actually, for a Dinobot, he has a rather good-natured outlook on things, mainly because he's too slow to really get violently angry or upset. He's a pretty good soldier in that he always does as he is told. Of course, most commands other than "go here" or "crush that" are to much for him to understand, but that's okay. His strongest loyalty (or the closest equivalent, what with his limited mentality) lies with Grimlock and the rest of the Dinobots, mainly because that's the only place where he fits in as part of the group. Plus, the Dinobots don't expect him to contribute too much other than to stomp and smash, which he admittedly does pretty well.

Sludge has the basic strength, endurance, and armament built into any of the Dinobots. He is one of the strongest, but he is also the most ungainly, clumsiest, and slowest. He is no good for closed-quarters battles, unless the goal is to utterly wreck the building and everything in it. His firepower is impressive, but he can't hit the side of a Dinobot with his horrible aim. Therefore, in battle, he does what he does best... stomp and smash. When he stomps the ground, he can create shock waves that, while nowhere near as powerful as Rumble's earthquakes, can be highly disorienting. Mainly, Sludge is happiest when he feels he is useful and valuable. It doesn't happen too often, so sometimes he isn't very happy.
