... read a very complimentary obituary for a college professor I had in his last class before retirement. He was blatantly phoning it in, and about half of us went to the department head to complain and got blown off because they didn't want to bother with it. Apparently he had an exemplary career, prior to that last semester. At least that's how they wrote him up.
