Alright, so I'm not really missing Cosmic Boy, per se, but I am a little annoyed that the one really cool thing that Mark Waid introduced during his run, an idea so awesome that it had the potential to make up for everything wrong with it, has not been followe up on at all.

I'm talking of course about the Knight's Tempus. I mean... what an awesomely cool idea! And yet it's been months and no follow-up in sight. I want to know who these people are! Did they subject Cosmic Boy to cruel initiation pranks? Did they take him out for ice cream from different worlds? Are there robot Cosmic Boy's used for history lessons in the 41st century?

And the worst part is when they finally do follow up on it, it'll probably be in some Final Crisis mini-series crap that I really don't want to have to buy. ugh.

I also found the Knight's Tempus intriguing, but personally I think it would be better for Mr. Shooter to get the 31st century scene straightened out in this reboot before investigating another century.

I can wait.

I'm a little iffy on the Knights Tempus, it could be good if handled with care. We'll probably find out more about them when ever they plan to bring Cosmic Boy back which probably won't be for a while.

Although Waids version of Cos was my favourite to date I'm hoping we don'tsee him for a while as it'll make his return that much more special.

The Knights Tempus could be a tremendous addition to the Legion Mythos if handled correctly - it'll certainly be good to get a perspective on the 41st century - just how advanced will it be? I wonder if the twist will be that they were inspired by the legend Cos left after he returned to the 31st century.
