Basically, he's doing the Legion of Doom but taking all the characters to serious darkness levels. Bizzaro is Frankenstein's monster, so is Grundy.

Brainiac is Agent Smith, Lex Luthor is the world's greatest criminal mastermind, Edward nigma is the second, etc.
