Dave created a team of villains to oppose the Legion back when he was first on the book. Tyr was among the membership, which also included Belladonna, Wolverine (years before Marvel's), Sidewinder, & Manta.

Yep--another unused concept (except for Tyr). My problem was that I was more creative than the Legion's then-editor Murray Boltinoff. I came up with a lot of stuff he wasn't ready to accept. Too conservative, dammit.
