According to this Dave is doing an alternate cover for New Avengers #7, and John Romita Sr. is doing one for #8, with Marie Severin for #9 (I think Sal Buscema is doing a sequence in one of these issues too). Just to let all you Cockrum-ites know!

I -could-, but that'd defeat the purpose of not rewarding Marvel for stupid creative decisions. Maybe I'll five-finger it...   Update from Nightscrawlers: Dave's got his references for the Avengers cover, as well as Whedon's script for his 8 pages in GSX #3. He's just waiting now for some vision problems to clear up.
