By the way, KK, thanks for asking a question from the tabloid. It is the only comic I have that is not in the basement. I have to store it elsewhere due to its irregular size, which means I had easy access to it to look up the answer.

Reader Nick Pascale, who also designed Lu's orange-purple split uniform. And King Jonn was named for his father.

I actually corresponded with the guy back when my Legion help file was giving people timely information.

That's it, CMK. I really thought that question would last longer.

In the same vein - what trio of Legion applicants were given "real names" based on the readers who suggested the characters' creations? And which two Legionnaires' origins did they hear about in their two failed tryouts?

that's the hard part... coming up with a good question when my collection is in storage a thousand miles away.

I'll try to post something by tomorrow.

What do Lightning Lad, Bounty, Leviathan, Inferno and Kid Quantum have in common that other Legion characters generally do not (if I think of any more, I'll add them to the list)?

Is that post-boot female Inferno, or pre-boot SW6 Inferno?

KK has basically what I was looking for - codenames used by both male and female characters.

In the Mordruverse story, who was planning to sacrifice his or her life to restore the "real" timeline, before Glorith took on the job herself?

Not to nitpick, but didn't Vidar actually manipulate Glorith into sacrificing her life without her knowledge?

Not at all, Drake - Glorith didn't realize that it would cost her her present (Mordruverse) life, but she realized that whoever did the spell would stand to be very powerful in the new universe that would arise, and she forced Rond to let her do it, or else she'd blow the whistle to Mordru.

To Kent's question - they all married royalty/heads of government.

Ooh, good question. Cosmic Boy is the only one I can think of at the moment.
