So to recap, it's a Batman Annual between 10 and 20 (excluding 14 & 15) and it isn't part of an event or crossover.

Lard Lad is correct! "Mortal Clay" by Alan Moore is still one of my favourite Clayface stories and I'm always disappointed this version of Clayface doesn't get used much.

To summarize, I'm thinking of a Marvel annual published prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths that wasn't a Spider-man Annual nor Avengers Annual 13.
