Well this is my personal opinion and not really an official rule. I generally don't guess again until after someone else takes a guess (either before or after my guess is confirmed wrong). An exception would be if it has been a couple of days since the last answer. (if the couple of days is because we are waiting for confirmation, then I PM the questioner rather than take another guess)

The way I look at it is that I don't want to hog the game. Let others take guesses too.

OK, I'm excited to be asking a question on this game. I'm going away tomorrow afternoon for an extended period of time, so I was worried I wouldn't have this opportunity. (Don't worry, I'll be sure to confirm the answer before I go!)

OK, I've done a lot of things in my life that would qualify me for "geek" status. I also enjoy writing creatively and have been making movies since I was a kid. That said, which three of the following things have I never done?

1. Made a list of 100 comics I'd like to read on a regular basis (some that exist and some that don't), and ascribed desired writers with each title.

2. Written and recorded (in part) my own audio version of The Hitchhiker's Guid to the Galaxy.

3. Filmed my own series of silent superhero movies as a child

4. Produced my own series of superhero "photo movies" (a photo story with accompanying audio track, the kind that beeps when you are supposed to turn the page) as an adult.

5. Recorded my own "audio commentaries" for each of the season finales of Blake's 7 ("Orac", "Star One", "Terminal", and "Blake"

6. Counted and tallied every character's word balloons in the 5 Years Later version of the Legion of Super-Heroes

7. Written a "How to Host a Murder Mystery" game featuring a superhero

8. Waited outside a theatre for Simon Jones' autograph (the guy who played Arthur Dent in the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

9. Left in the middle of Thanksgiving Dinner to take a bus to a Doctor Who convention

10. Filled up the entire "Official Marvel Try Out Book" with my atrocious art

OK, all three of the things I've never done have now been guessed, but by different people. That's quite a big clue, if you use your basic logic skills.

So this means the following are eliminated, because nobody guessed them and I have done them...

I imagine that many of us have done something like this, even if it wasn't a formal list. One of my favourites is having Alan Moore write "Jughead"

I didn't quite finish recording this, but did make a good effort at it. I actually wrote scripts for the first two and three fourths books!

The superhero was called Captain Valiant. One of the main villains was a jet-pack wielding bad guy named "Skyrider"

He was in a Broadway play that I saw called "Benefactors", also starring Sam Waterston, Mary Beth Hurt, and Glenn Close. Simon Jones was the least famous of the lot, but the one that I wanted to meet...

And to answer your question, Quis, I won't be in San Diego. I'm off to North Africa for three weeks, and then onto New York for a holiday until early September. That's where I grew up, and where my parents still live. I live in Australia now.

This doesn't mean I'll be off-line all that time, but I probably won't be on as regularly. Incidentally, I'm new to this site but I enjoy the overall positive sense of comraderie and friendliness here that is often missing from the DC Legion Boards. Thanks, guys.
