There is a class on procrastination, but it and the other two guesses are not the class I am taking. I was thinking about the White People class, but it got cancelled.

I'll give you a clue: I first saw this poem in a Flash story featuring Wally West, where the poem played quite a prominant part in the story.

The only poem I know of in conjunction with a Wally West story was Rudyard Kipling's "If".
Might that be it?

That's the one Seth.
It was in a Secret Origins annual on the Flash.
The poem was from the Wally West segment. He claimed it was Barrys' favorite poem. It's a list of rules/guidelines on being a better person.
I was going to give multiple choice answers but I don't know enough poetry to make up a decent list.
Oh, the full line was:
"If you can WALK WITH CROWDS and keep your virtue,
