I loved all those books and wrote letters to some (my very first was to Super Friends when I was nine), but none were published.

My name was mentioned in the letter column of an issue of Superman, but they didn't print my letter. Not Sandman or JLE either.

Novelty has it. The letter in which I included a filk in homage to that particular Justice League America issue in which Beetle and Booster build a casino on a tropical island--sung to the tune of "The Ballad of Gilligan's Isle"--was indeed published.

And whoever said Librarians were boring...
I just got a message from someone that my Christmas present for 2008 is on its way (huh? what? that's been over weeks ago). What am I getting from them? (builds the list after digging through old questions on this thread)
a. a pair of socks and a shirt b. Adventure #247 c. An iPhone d. Some japanese robot toy thing whose name is unpronouncable in English e. Dried cranberries f. A year's subscription to National Geographic g. Return tickets to Australia h. Spore (the video game) i. $100 gift voucher to a japanese restaurant (sorry KK, it's not naked) j. An all expenses paid trip to Legoland California (wanna meetup KK?) k. 5 frozen Chicago pizzas from Chicago l. an electric blue wig and an electric guitar m. Tickets to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway n. 6 seasons of Amazing Race on DVD
