There was a fairly recent DC comic book in which the title of the story (not the title of the series, but the title of that issue) had a double meaning: it was a pop-culture reference to the contents of the story, and it was also a reference to the new artist for that series, coming aboard that issue. (This is the actual title of the story I'm talking about here, not just a cover blurb or anything.) I thought that was really interesting because I've never seen such a meta reference in a comic-book story title before.

What's the series, and who was the new artist?

Hint: the pop-culture reference I mentioned was, specifically, a Bugs Bunny reference that related to the basic plot of the story.

Unless Mark Bright was the artist, leading to a "What's Up Doc?" title, I think you'll need a new Q...

The comic was Blue Beetle. The issue in question had Jaime and co. traveling somewhere, and they called the story something like 'Shouldn't Have Taken That Left Turn at Albuquerque'. And it was the first issue for artist Rafael Albuquerque.

Anybody can ask one.

A Captain Marvel v3 issue footnoted a fake issue*. What was it?

*NB: No, the unpublished Captain Marvel v2 issues referenced from v3 don't count - they were plotted out at the time. This is an issue which only existed in a one-page flashback in a CMv3 issue.

No-one's going to get it, are they?

It's Small X-Pectations, an X-Men/Micron[aut]s crossover. Captain Marvel v3 #6.

What commercial product (type of product, and brand name) did Mr. Miracle endorse during the JLI era?

Wasn't it called "Miracle Mister", and it was some sort of cleaning product, IIRC.

CMK basically has it: it was a plant mister (i.e. a spray bottle used to spray a mist of water on plants) called the Miracle Mister.

At one point in Fantastic Four history, Reed Richards needed Galactus's help, and offered, in exchange, to free Galactus from his promise to not eat Earth. What villain's threat led Reed to make such a dangerous offer?

Ok, here we go...

Superboy had a lamp that would blink when he was being summoned. There were usually three parties that could summon Superboy; however, the writers were inconsistant so there are actually more than 3 answers. Anyway, who could summon Superboy by making his lamp blink?

- Chief Parker
- the President
- the Legion

The first 2 are correct, but the Legion was one of those that was mentioned only occasionally. No, there was a third party who was almost always mentioned as being able to summon Superboy. Next question goes to whomever can name the third party.

That's it, KK. Professor Lang could contact Superboy by blinking his lamp. The other answer was the Pentagon, and there might be other answers too. Take it away!

He was held by the Anti-Monitor. Was it at the end of time?

He was held by the Anti-Monitor and tormented by Psycho Pirate, but it wasn't at the End of Time.
