As much as I love most to all of the Legionnaires, Lu and Tinya are certainly going to sell a lot better than any of the remaining male Legionnaires...if we ever get to that stage of the line, at least. I don't know...I imagine that gay fans would flock to an Element Lad figure.

P.S.- I got credited $20 for canceled books... 8 Crossgens, a Kabuki that was solicited by Image before moving to Marvel's ICON imprint, and an ADS back-order. So I guess I'll order Lyle today!

Originally posted by Director Lad: In a slightly related note, I picked up the Art Asylum Kirk, Spock, and McCoy figures last week on Ebay. Have you guys seen these? How cool would it have been if Art Asylum had been making the Legion figures instead of DC Direct! I've got McCoy, Scotty, Mirror Spock, and the San Diego "exclusive" Kirk. They really are great figures, but the marketing doesn't seem to have been there. Sales reportedly haven't been all that good.

I could have sword DC Direct was starting to use the plastic bubbles that snap shut so you could open them & re-seal them-- just like Dapol did with their last run of DOCTOR WHO figures. Why is DC Direct still using these STUPID plastic bubble GLUED to the cardboard backing??? This kind of packaging has bugged me since the late 1960's! (Who else remembers MAJOR MATT MASON ? Who else still HAS theirs?)

A DC Direct rep once told me that the re-sealable packaging wasn't cost effective. No idea how that really breaks down, but I liked that packaging.
