Taproot, Calling. I don't like any of their other songs, so this is an anomaly.

All Your Pretty Fates by The Veda Rays (in the video it's set to scenes from the 1969 Fellini film Satyricon...kind of amazing)

I'm going through the Nirvana Box set "With the Lights Out" from a few years back (basically all the old archival and unreleased stuff). I'm currently loving the original demo of "Smells Like Teen Spirit", recorded on Kurt's boombox. Very raw, different lyrics, same cool song.

I found this one a week ago and was blown away: Alabama Shakes - You Ain\'t Alone I think this band is still pretty unknown, but with those Janis Joplin-esque vocals, I hope they won't be for much longer.

Not very new, but it ages well: Glen Phillips playing "Fred Meyer."

Another oldie but goodie, this is the neglected stepchild of the ABBA singles, an undeserved flop in almost every country. Personally, I love it. So Long

My favorite Billy Idol song, Adam in Chains from his awesome Cyberpunk album. The video's pretty trippy, too. Tomorrow People and Shangri-La are also very cool, if 100% orthagonal to what one would expect to hear after hearing the words 'Billy Idol.'
