just had the 4th episode here in the UK tonight, and what another great one it was !!

can't wait to see who the guy from the future is !!??

and it was funny to see that the casino that HIRO was in, was the 'Montecito' from NBC's other show 'LAS VEGAS' !!

So, James Caan is behind everything.

He might have made a better Lindeman. I expected better then what was offered, but the rest of the latest episode got me going. Stupid month and a half wait.

Great episode again!!!!

Looks like everything is coming together (and coming apart at the same time).

Glad to see we finally have a shapeshifter on board. Her first appearance had me fooled, but not her second!!! Uh oh!

A lot of folks in danger now, and a long stupid wait to go before the next chapter!

Another good ep. I loved that everyones favorite Dynamic Duo got reunited. It's nice to know that Mohinder isn't as dense as he appeared. To bad Claire is away from Zach, I liked their interaction. Ms Shape-Shifter seems like an interesting character so far.

I'm curious... is she really a shape-shifter, or an illusionist of some kind. I didn't get the impression from the special effect that she was changing shape, more that she was affecting her environment to appear differently.

I'm pretty certain she changed the background in Isaac's apartment, hiding the dead body when the police were there.

I had forgotten that... definitely an illusionist, then.

What do we make of her being alive in Peter's vision... ?

I wonder how much of Peter's vision was prophecy and how much was dream. Perhaps the two were combining, showing him what would happen, as well as what he was afraid would happen. Concern for Simone might have put her into his vision, even if she wasn't part of the prophecy.

Or maybe she can raise herself from the dead smile

good stuff as always. I have one complaint. when mama patrelli and the memory stealer were talking where were the subtitles? that's my pet peeve, if you are going to have a foreign language spoken use the subtitles. just saying.

anyways, my mind is still reeling from all that's going on. Ando is the man.

Indeed, wamu2, Ando is the best friend a hero (or anyone) could ask for.

And you guys are right, she's got to be an illusionist. She can change more than her own appearance. I wouldn't think she's limited to appearing as a woman either (although so far she has only duplicated two other women on the show...that we know of...) smile

I don't really know about Heroes, but on Lost the policy is that if the point of view character doesn't speak the language, there won't be subtitles. So, since the viewer was experiencing the scene from Claire's pov, we're supposed to be as clueless as her as to what's being said.

Going back one "chapter" to that flashback with li'l Hiro and baby Claire, what were they doing on that particular rooftop? Was Simone's father a part of all this as well?

And who was the Invisible Man hiding seven years ago? There's little chance this won't come up again.

Forgot to mention...my very first thought when Simone walked in to Issac's apartment? Maybe she can duplicate herself (a la Madrox or Multiplex).

And in retrospect, I think I actually would have liked that better than what really happened in that scene.

That would have been cool, but perhaps too close to the whoke Nikki/Jessica thing, sans mirror.

I must have missed the whole "invisible guy 7 years ago" thing.

This is probably one of those just-let-it-go questions, but how did Projectra get to the hotel first? Assuming HRG had to report in first, she would have been with him. And they most likely would have been reporting directly to Eric Roberts.

In his state, HRG would have gone directly to the hotel then. Heck, he may have even gone directly to the hotel from the airport. But they had to have some time to set it up.

I guess they could have come up with a bit of busywork for him, or they have a speedster or teleporter of their own. But the timing still didn't feel quite right.

Otherwise, I thought it was a stellar episode. Since Peter seems to be an empath power absorber, would he have absorbed all of Sylar's stolen powers, as well? It would seem not since they have met before, but maybe Peter needs more than a few seconds with someone.

And maybe it's Sylar that blows up, and not Peter. Everyone seems to think it's Peter, but that picture doesn't really make it clear. It could still go either way since neither have met Radiation Roy. (I love being able to give them all Legion names when I can't remember the real ones. smile )

Man, I just love this series. April 23 can't come fast enough.

Obviously this was their plan the entire season. Annoy people with his overly long bang locks (I don't know the exact term, but I bet Matty Poo does wink ) and then sever them for effect smile

I almost feel sorry for Sylar. Peter is absorbing all the really cool superhero powers (flight, telekinesis, invisibility, healing) and poor Sylar keeps getting the lame, Substitute Heroes powers (hearing, puddle making, stuff like that) smile

Hey, "puddle making" wouldn't seem so slight if he had just melted your favorite wrench...

I also have to wonder when he absorbed those "super eyebrow growing" abilities...

or for that matter, it could be Projectra herself, giving off the illusion that she's exploded, maybe to screw with Peter's head?

A Little Help Dept.: I missed a few eps. Why does Hiro need this particular sword so badly? Does it have some mystical powers that will help defeat Linderman or save the world or restore his "lost" powers (which thankfully have returned) ?

Is it just me, or does Phantom Man seem to know that Jessica is still around? His smile vanished when he turned from her posing as Nikki.

The sword first came up when Hiro saw himself in Isaac's painting wielding it against a dinosaur. The sword is supposed to have belonged to a legendary warrior, and to have helped that warrior focus his power. So when Hiro's powers started malfunctioning, he decided that it was his destiny to obtain the sword and restore his lost powers.
