Did anyone else catch the big plothole with Papa Petrelli? Why he can't be dead?

It sure seemed to me like they shot him in the wrong place.

Also, even if you grant the sci fi cliche that faster-than-light travel allows one to go back in time, how the heck did they get back from the past?

Time is circular and they ran past the beginning of time to the future and then back to the present?

Whole lotta third-tier deaths this ep, which always kinda bugs me. Where's the drama when we know that all of the main characters have plot immunity? Ooh, homeless dude who turns to metal makes his second appearance, and dies. Ooh, random black guy we've never seen before gets his throat slit. Hey, gung-ho recruit soldier guy is dead in his second appearance, too! Bye Knox! Bye creepy puppet-master dude, we hardly knew ye (and mostly didn't want to...)! Bye Flint and Meredith (maybe, we didn't really see the bodies).

Golly. Note to other 'heroes' that haven't been seen much (Invisible Claude, Micah, Taskmistress, Molly Walker), run for your lives!

And, oh, the drama of seeing Sylar die, when they've been advertising all over the internet and TV spots about his upcoming arc with his real father. Yeesh. Did they really have to spoil it for that poor guy who lives in the Marianas trench and gets his news from deep-sea tube worms who actually believed that Sylar might die?

Stay tuned for Fugitives! Where Sylar makes waffles? (Oh, we already did that...) Where Sylar has his first date! (Darn, did that, too.) Sylar becomes a good-guy, bad-guy, good-guy, bad-guy! (Shoot.) Ah! I've got it, stay tuned for the next episode of the All-Sylar Show, where Mr. Roper is eavesdropping on Sylar and comes to a hilarious and whacky misunderstanding about what he was talking about!

Hijinks and shenanigans, and 110% more Sylar, who's 750% more regeneratinger than Arthur Petrelli!

I really liked the scene with Hiro and his mom, but Hiro gets "the Light" only to lose it right after?!? He loses the formula, then the catalyst and somehow we're supposed to believe that he redeems himself by punching Ice-Bitch in the face? (Nemesis could've just taken it out of her hand - Hiro's presence was pointless)

Flint and Meredith should still be alive (well, assuming the show followed any kind of consistent logic, which is a *big* assumption). But I agree that the constant introducing of minor characters to kill them is getting really obnoxious. Honestly, there's so much to dislike about this show, I'm not sure why I continue to watch it. Which I suppose means they really have captured the feel of a modern comic book!

Which makes me wonder, "why didn't they take her outside to blow up?" She wouldn't have been burned and wouldn't have had the building fall in on her. (oh, and how cheesy was the shot of HRG and Claire running away from the fireball?)

She's also in an underground cell built to hold in super-powered prisoners. Seems to me like a pretty safe place to be when the building collapses.

For what it's worth, "Fugitives" is showing more life than "Villains". The characters still do a lot of retarded things, but the story is more streamlined. The past couple episodes have been particularly enjoyable.

D'Oh! Why hadn't this occurred to me? I guess it's because he's been off the show for so long. Kinda hope it's somehow NOT Micah...just cuz he's a little twit! (but yeah, there's a 99.9% chance it's him)

I thought the first couple of episodes of Fugitives were pretty stupid, but it *has* been a bit better the last couple of weeks, imo.

Geez,..all the hating going towards Mich,..did everyone forget about the girl that has almost the same power as Micah, and can travel via Wifi? she was introduced in the 2nd season and i think she had her adventures on the heroes webasode. how do we know it's not her? maybe she's Rebel?

I totally forgot about Micah, even though he was in the file Nathan and the President were looking at in the limo at the end of "Villians" ...

it could be Hana Gitelman from the graphic novels and webisodes too, but I'm betting on Micah ...

was that the "puppet master" guy at the end of 3/2 episode? I thought Sylar killed him ... didn't anyone die at Primatech?

This storyarc is just leaving me cold. I don't feel any emotional connection to these characters anymore. Maybe it's because their lives are so wrapped up in the plot, they don't have their own lives anymore aside from Claire.

And Hiro is quickly becoming annoying and downright UN-heroic with his selfishness and ego. (and if he screams "I did it!" in japanese ONE MORE FREAKIN' TIME, I'm turning off the show...)

In advertisements for last night's episode, it was said that Sylar's reunion with his father would not be what he expected. Well, if he expected it to be remotely interesting, I'd have to agree.

Funny touch--at least one (Jesse Heiman), possibly two of the nerds loitering at the comic shop just one hour previously played fellow employees of the Buy More Store with one Chuck Bartowski--implying the (remote) possibility that Chuck and Heroes exist in the same universe...

I saw two. What city is Claire in, again?

Anyone else think Mr. Muggles is Rebel? smile

Wow! Heroes was actually REALLY good tonight! Who knew that the return of Bryan Fuller (wrter/creator of the late lamented "Pushing Daisies") to the show could turn it around so suddenly! I hope the rest of the season will measure up!

I noticed it seemed quite a bit better than recent episodes (I wouldn't say "really good", but "better" wink )...

I didn't realize it was Fuller's influence, but that makes sense.
