I didn't mean to turn you off the Secret Files, Semi. It's actually very well written (for an introduction story) and most of the art is great. There's just a couple that are, well, wrong.

I'm going to skip it and have another drink instead. I've seen too much bad Legion art. I';; just stick with Batista and pray they don't replace him.
For god's sake, Legion should be the pinnacle, not the try-out.

I still have to get started on that. I think the surprise gift of the year will be if I can get my girlfriend a "meat-wad" tee-shirt from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The older I've gotten, I've really learned that the best gifts are the little ones that become an 'in-joke/in-story' type thing.

Ok, I didn't understand that gift at all. Must be
because I'm old.

I know who Meatwad is, but I'll admit I don't see the in-joke. Which makes sense; it's an in-joke.

I think I'll start tonight off with a boilermaker.

Tell me what's in a boilermaker, Miner. Does it involve beef boulion?

Unless I've been lied to, it's beer with a shot of bourbon.

I haven't a clue how Martin's going to do. It depends on what happens with the Conservatives and the Alliance, who Martin chooses as deputy, what the major issues are by that point...

I think he'll do a great job with the budget, though.

Okay, more Opal Nera. I think, that by alligning with the Alliance, the Conservative party just died.

It might work if the right leader takes charge, but we'll have to see.
