I'm still working on the last one. smile

I didn't mean to turn you off the Secret Files, Semi. It's actually very well written (for an introduction story) and most of the art is great. There's just a couple that are, well, wrong.

I'm going to skip it and have another drink instead. I've seen too much bad Legion art. I';; just stick with Batista and pray they don't replace him.
For god's sake, Legion should be the pinnacle, not the try-out.

Hey Semi, are you on? How about a nice bourbon on the rocks to enjoy the mid-afternoon of a Saturday smile

That's cool. I've actually started my Christmas shopping, but don't tell anybody.

Your secret is safe with me smile

I still have to get started on that. I think the surprise gift of the year will be if I can get my girlfriend a "meat-wad" tee-shirt from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The older I've gotten, I've really learned that the best gifts are the little ones that become an 'in-joke/in-story' type thing.

Ok, I didn't understand that gift at all. Must be
because I'm old.

I know who Meatwad is, but I'll admit I don't see the in-joke. Which makes sense; it's an in-joke.

I think I'll start tonight off with a boilermaker.

Tell me what's in a boilermaker, Miner. Does it involve beef boulion?

Fortunately, no.

Unless I've been lied to, it's beer with a shot of bourbon.

Oh, ok, here's a Molson Export and Crown Royal. (Sorry, I was just feeling a bit Canadian there.)

Miner, if you ever want to be Secretary General of the UN, you've got a great start. You can drink with class in any country.

Why, thank you, Semi.

But you would be my choice for such a job. Bartenders tend to have excellent mediation skills, and you're one of the best.

I would like a Deep Violet. That little taste of blackcurrant (which is rarely found in the States) yesterday has made me want more of the stuff.

Here it is Stu. But I've served it in a special sipping glass. You won't be able to chug it. So savor it.

[sips the drink in a refined fashion]

Wow, it's so different when more of it gets in your mouth than all over your chin...

Bar's open. We don't have Sunday closing laws on LWMB. Just thought I'd remind you.

Another quiet night on Legionworld. It must be all those Legion issues keeping everyone busy.

I'll have an Opal Nera if your still around Semi.

I am around, Arachne. A little troubled by all the LWMB politicing going on, but otherwise, your basic Canadian ex-patriot stalwart.

Now, what can I get you? And by the way, is Martin going to f*up, in your humble opinion?

I haven't a clue how Martin's going to do. It depends on what happens with the Conservatives and the Alliance, who Martin chooses as deputy, what the major issues are by that point...

I think he'll do a great job with the budget, though.

And I'll have another Opal Nera.

Okay, more Opal Nera. I think, that by alligning with the Alliance, the Conservative party just died.

It might work if the right leader takes charge, but we'll have to see.
