Well, just to let people know, Autumn has arrived in Boston. The temps are getting cooler, especially at night. Light weight jackets are suggested.

Was just going to ask what weather to pack for...it being autumn and all.

Des, I'm driving up Friday and Back Sunday, you aren't that far out of my way...

Abin, I think Pov is driving to boston and back to his place in CT each day.

Yeah, I'll be commuting. Guess I'll need to clean out my trunk if Des is hitching.

I wasn't planning on coming up on Friday, what with Darden staying in Boston, but I've acquired another guest (teehee )and will most likely be there all three days now.

Wait, you're coming up from Miami, right? Better make it your full winter gear...

Ummm...full winter gear? Okay but somehow I thought I might need something more than OP shorts, Docksiders (no socks) and golf shirts.

Oh, and just so you boys and girls know, I'm bringing along at -least- a shortbox of Legion-related stuff* for you all to pick through. Get it out of my house!!!

Well, after jumping back and forth across the fence, it seems as though I will be driving to the Expo. My boss said that it's really easy to get to: just take 95 down, then get onto 93, then get off at exit 15 (Columbia Road), go partway around the rotary and you're there.

Of course, if I get lost, I'm shoving my tiara up his butt

Just keep your cell phones handy in case I need last minute directions!

It is that easy. Although after the rotary, it can be a little confusing, but there is a big Bayside Expo Center sign to help guide you.

Also for the exit, just before the exit is Fortress Storage with their huge balloon lock & chain. The onramp right there becomes the off ramp for exit 15. At the end of the ramp, you want to turn left. (You'll have a light for this)

Then it's a week and a half of V time!

This might make it easy to spot me in a crowd, just add thin (and greying ) beard.

Well, I was thinking that that would be the night to go to Harvard Square. There are a couple of places to eat there.

The convention closes at 6. I was thinking that we could all take the subway to Harvard Square (there is almost no parking at Harvard Square)

DL, I think the best place to meet us would be at the convention site.

Only if you want to wait a really long time. If I make it out there, it won't be until fairly late in the evening. Honestly, given the obligations I have here at home that day, I should probably beg out now. Much as I really would love to meet everyone, driving two hours to Boston to hang out for an hour or two, then driving two hours home might not be the best plan.

About the earliest I could leave Amherst would be around 8pm, so I wouldn't get to Boston til around 10pm.

Are you sure you can't leave earlier? How about on Friday?

Friday is the Serenity premiere; I have tix to see a show here with a bunch of friends. Saturday I'm tied up until around 8 and can't get out of it.
